Blissful Banana Pie

What You Need

cup NILLA Wafer Crumbs

1/2

cup finely chopped PLANTERS Pecans

1/3

cup butter or margarine, melted

squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped

cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows, divided

cups milk, divided

pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Cook & Serve Pudding

cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

medium bananas, thinly sliced

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Mix wafer crumbs, pecans and butter; press firmly onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Bake 5 min.; cool.

PLACE chocolate squares, 1 cup of the marshmallows and 1/2 cup of the milk in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 min.; stir until chocolate is completely melted. Pour into crust; refrigerate until ready to use.

PREPARE pudding mix in large bowl as directed on pkg. for pudding, using remaining 1-1/2 cups milk. Place plastic wrap directly on surface of pudding; refrigerate 30 min. or until cooled. Gently stir in whipped topping and remaining 2 cups marshmallows. Arrange bananas evenly over chocolate layer; cover with the pudding mixture. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled. Store in refrigerator.

This was easy and very good. I don't have much success with pudding pies normally, and this turned out beautifully presentation-wise as well.

Everyone loved this pie! The flavors are wonderful together! I even used a pre-made crust and instant pudding and it still turned out delicious!

I made this recipe and had to make it again the following week as my husband loved it. My daughter was in town and she loved it too...and of course, most importantly, I loved it! I love that it tastes so good and yet uses reduced fat and low sugar ingredients, you would never know it, it tastes luscious. Thanks for this recipe, it's a keeper!

This pie is really, really rich and tasty. Could only eat a small amount at once, but it was so very good. Loved the crust especially.

For fun at holiday time or anytime buy the colored marshmellows to stir in with the whipped topping on the top of pie, every-one will be talking about your colorful pie, kids really love it. It make it look better so people think that it taste even better and it already taste great.

My family LOVES this pie!!! I make it every holiday and when there are get-togethers it is the top requested item. Some short cuts I have done when pressed for time are using a prepared graham cracker crust or the butter flavored crust. I also use 1cup of Cool Whip in place of the whipping cream. I also made it with instant chocolate pudding for my older son who prefers chocolate to vanilla (but will still eat the vanilla if I only make one pie).

We loved it! The only thing I changed was the crust; I made it with a traditional pre-baked pie crust and not the crumb crust. My children loved it.
