Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this dip a day ahead of time for a get together with our friends. Made this dip a day ahead of time for a get together with our friends. I had never made it before, but it was SO EASY. I changed it up alittle bit by adding a dry ranch dressing packet to the sour cream and adding chopped up bacon to that layer as well. Since I was not going to serve it until the next day, I did not add the lettuce and tomato until ready to serve. I bought Wheat thins and corn chips to serve with it. It was a great hit. We finished it in record time and I was told that I could make it anytime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This dip is DELISH! This dip is DELISH!!! I brought it over for Thanksgiving at my familys house. & It was gone FAST! Next time I will make 2 trays! The only thing I added differnt was instead of the onion powder. I added Ranch Dressing dip packet with the sour cream & mixed bacon pit pieces with it. So that the bottom had bacon too! & Also added real bacon on the layers as well. This is a must at party! Make sure to make extra because it will go fast! :)

It didn't look like the picture - we used the exact amount as described but it just kind of piled in the dish. Wasn't too pretty, but it still tasted good if you like BLTs.

I tried it with low fat cheese and bacon bits (there was no difference in taste) I tried it with low fat sour cream and after time it was a little runny. I would stick with the regular sour cream

Very tasty and easy to put together (the only thing that you have to do is chop the tomato and mix the base - I used Ranch seasoning mix) if you buy shredded lettuce. I got lots of compliments and people asking what the yummy base was.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Much better when you use 1 packet dry ranch mix w/the sour cream. Much better when you use 1 packet dry ranch mix w/the sour cream. Otherwise, as written, it's bland and lifeless. I served it with Triscuits that held up quite well to the taste and texture of the dip. Huge favorite at work and home!
