BOCA Spaghetti and "Meatballs" recipe

What You Need

lb.  spaghetti, uncooked
cups  frozen BOCA Veggie Ground Crumbles
cup  dry bread crumbs
cup  cholesterol-free egg product
jar  (24 oz.) spaghetti sauce, divided
tsp.  oil

Make It

COOK spaghetti as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, microwave crumbles in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 sec. Stir in bread crumbs, egg product and 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce. Let stand 5 min. Shape into 12 balls.

COOK "meatballs" in hot oil on medium heat 8 min. or until cooked through (160º) and evenly browned, stirring frequently. Stir in remaining sauce. Cook 2 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

DRAIN spaghetti; place on platter. Top with meatballs and sauce.

Kraft Kitchens Tips

Substitute 2 beaten eggs for the egg product.
Special Extra
Prepare and cook "meatballs" as directed, adding 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley to the crumbles mixture before shaping into balls. Serve over spaghetti. Sprinkle with additional chopped fresh parsley.
Vary this dish by preparing with different flavors of spaghetti sauce, such as those with mushrooms, or onion and garlic.
