I used cognac and it was delicious. Today, I'm substituting spiced rum. Can't wait for the cheesecake shots, which has become an annual Christmas treat here!
I whipped up a batch of these for a Christmas party and they were a huge hit! I had leftover snickerdoodle cookies onhand that I used instead of Nilla Wafers that worked out just as well, and upped the amount of bourbon to approximately 5 tblspoons for more of a boost. Won rave reviews from all!
