Rated 5 out of 5 by from These were easy to make and DELICIOUS. These were easy to make and DELICIOUS. I substituted quite a few things because it's what I had. I used country style boneless spareribs, pineapple juice instead of oj, chicken broth instead of beef, and italian instead of thousand island. I was intimidated by the ingredients and time, but they were really easy. Definitely a new fav.

For the amount of time it takes to make this dish I was very disappointed in the over all flavor. It lacked in salt and body. It left me feeling as though I wasted 2 hrs in the kitchen. The blend of ingredients did not mingle well at all. I suggest anyone looking for a good "Braised Rib" try elsewhere.

I made this as written with the exception of not adding quite as much cayenne pepper because of the kids. Everyone raved! Will definitely make this again - the pork was crazy tender! Next time I'll probably add some pepper flakes to mine & hubbies since we like more spice. Excellent recipe!
