  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Combine cereal and milk in medium bowl; let stand 5 min. Meanwhile, combine next 6 ingredients in large bowl.
  • Add trail mix, egg and butter to cereal mixture; mix well. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.)
  • Spoon into 12 paper-lined muffin cups.
  • Bake 18 to 20 min. or until tootpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pan 3 min. Remove to wire rack; cool slightly.

Special Equipment Needed


Substitute 1/4 cup raisins and 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts for the trail mix.

Storage Know-How

Cool any leftover muffins, then place in freezer-weight resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Freeze up to 6 months. Thaw at room temperature. Reheat in microwave just before serving, if desired.
