  • Preheat broiler. Place bread slices in single layer on baking sheet. Broil 2 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
  • Mix dressing and cheese. Remove 1/4 cup of the dressing mixture; set aside. Spread remaining dressing mixture evenly onto toast slices.
  • Combine tomatoes, onions and reserved 1/4 cup dressing mixture; spoon onto toast slices just before serving.

Special Extra

Stir 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil leaves into tomato mixture before spooning onto toast slices as directed.

Substitute

Substitute 2 drained cans (14.5 oz. each) no-salt-added diced tomatoes for the chopped fresh tomatoes.

    This was good...omitted the scallion for chopped fresh basil and added some fresh minced garlic for a more robust Italian flavor. We love Bruschetta! You can add all kinds of things to make it to your favorite flavors. Love your recipes! Keep em' coming!
