Cafe Ladyfinger Dessert Recipe

What You Need

pkg. (3 oz. each) ladyfingers, split

1

cup brewed strong MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee or YUBAN Coffee, cooled, divided

1

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Fat Free Cream Cheese, softened

2

cups cold fat-free milk

2

pkg. (1.5 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Fat Free Sugar Free Instant Pudding

1

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

BRUSH cut sides of ladyfingers evenly with 1/4 cup coffee; arrange on bottom and up side of 2-qt. bowl.

BEAT cream cheese and remaining coffee in large bowl with whisk until blended. Gradually beat in milk. Add dry pudding mixes; beat 2 min. Stir in half the COOL WHIP; spoon into prepared bowl.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour. Top with remaining COOL WHIP just before serving.

Shortcut

Substitute 2 tsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee, dissolved in 1 cup hot water, for the brewed coffee.

I never posted a review of this recipe, but wanted to do so now. I made this in 2005(Thanksgiving). Now I make it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is so good and so easy and you don't feel guilty for eating it. We all love it and now I even make it on special occasions. The only problem I have is that I can't eat just one portion of it. I agree with the other reviewers that it is much better made the day before -- but hide it from everyone until you're ready to serve it or they will get into it. Thanks.

I made this twice and it is easy and very good. The most difficult part of this recipe was finding a store that carried ladyfingers. I had made it the day before serving and it was so much better. It also looks so nice in a glass serving bowl. My sister had emailed me and told me she needed the recipe because she was addicted to it.

Had this for Easter dessert. It was light, flavorful & pleased everyone that tried it. Even good leftover. I passed the recipe out at work the next day. Loved it!

Absolutely delicious, Made this tiramisu for dinner party and it was superb, my guests were thrilled and it was a cinch to make. Will be a definate favorite in our house.

A great treat for tiramisu lovers without the added calories. This was really easy to make, the hardest part is placing the lady fingers up. Pound cake works great if you can't find lady fingers. I am making a second one this weekend for a pool party :)
