Cafe Latte

This is a standard in my home. If you use Maxwell house Coffee in your coffe maker and have some left, you can add cocoa to it with sugar or sweetner to make a easy syrup to blend with the milk. I use evaporated fat free milk which foams easier than milk with fat. A wire whisk works wonders. You can also do a cocoa with this and serve with a easy desert. Top with fat free whip cream and add chocolate shavings or cinnamon dust to create a fancy drink to serve with cookies for a quick treat.

I love Starbucks but had to cut back because it's a little expensive. I tried this and LOVED IT!!!! It has now took the place of my Cinnamon Dolce Cafe Latte. It's just as good and alot cheaper!

This is a good basic latte recipe. You can also use about 1 tsp of instant coffee if you don't have time to brew a pot. This is especially easy to make with a Coco Latte or Mr. Coffee Cafe Motion - a cool little blender that heats as it blends, and even makes foam! I got mine as a gift but they're pretty inexpensive and available at target or amazon. :)

Another variation I make is to heat a cup of skim milk in the microwave, put it in a blender add a teaspoon of instant coffee and whip until frothy! What a treat!

You can also add a little flavored creamer into the milk and whip altogether also.

Also fantastic iced!! Make your coffee ahead of time, and chill in fridge. Then mix 1/3 cold coffee with 2/3 cold milk. Yum! Try also flavored and sweetened. :-)

Even easier if you nuke the coffee until it's boiling, whip it in the cup, add a little flavored syrup in with the coffee. Amazing!
