California Pitas

Pita breads are filled with tomatoes, avocados and a creamy mustardy ham and cheese salad for tasty sandwiches with west coast flair.

what you need

cups  chopped ham
1
cup  KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2
cup  chopped red peppers
1/3
cup  KRAFT Real Mayo Mayonnaise

Tbsp.  GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
3
large  pita breads, halved
1
large  tomato, cut into 6 slices
1
medium  avocado, peeled, pitted and cut into 6 slices

Make It

MIX ham, cheese, peppers, mayo and mustard; cover.

REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour or until ready to use.

FILL each pita bread half with 1/2 cup of the ham mixture, 1 tomato slice and 1 avocado slice.

Serve with assorted cut up fresh vegetables and a piece of fruit.
Great Substitute
Substitute green peppers for the red peppers.
