This was a big hit in my house. I served it warm and cold. I did change the lemon to orange. I also sved well in the frig.

What You Need

50
 NILLA Wafers, crushed, divided

Tbsp. butter
3/4
cup sugar
3
 eggs
1
container (16 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Cottage Cheese
1
cup milk
1
tsp. grated lemon zest
1-1/2
cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside. Reserve 3 Tbsp. of the crushed wafers; set aside.

BEAT butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in cottage cheese, milk, lemon zest and remaining crushed wafers. Pour batter into prepared pan; sprinkle top with reserved 3 Tbsp. crushed wafers.

BAKE 45 min. or until set. Cool 20 min.; serve warm with a dollop of whipped topping or cool completely. Sprinkle with additional grated lemon peel, if desired.
