Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was WONDERFUL! This was WONDERFUL! I'm diabetic, so I substituted SPLENDA for the sugar, used low-fat cream cheese and because I like nutmeg with cinnamon, I add 1/2 teaspoon of it . I can't say how the rest of the family liked it, because they wouldn't try it, because of the changes it I made, but guess what? That just meant more for me. ~ I only have one complaint and that is it was almost impossible to get the foil off the bottom. I greased it was butter, maybe I should have used shortening. I will next time. There will definitely a next time. ~~~Amity Oregon

A few things have changed since I first got the original recipe, one of the products is no longer available. To compensate, I started using instant french vanilla cappuccino mix, and I triple what the recipe calls for.

Once, I didn't have the unsweetened baking chocolate, so I substituted semi-sweet plus one tablespoon cocoa, and it came out just as good! We take it to holiday gatherings and such. Leona E...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We loved this recipe. We loved this recipe. But....I wouldn't cook it again for 40 min. only maybe 20 min. I used cappuccino instead of the coffee. Because of the length of cooking time it was hard as a rock around the corners. The middle was wonderful. I will make it again soon.

I really liked it, so did my friends that like coffee. The first brownies I have made that didnt come from a box mix. Fairly simple and pretty. I knd of wish the coffee was dissolved.

I actually forgot to add the instant coffee (instant cappacino mix in my case) and it still tasted wonderful! Yes the white batter was a little think but it flattened out in the baking and was still as pretty. The cinnamon added a great taste to the dish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great recipe. Great recipe. These brownies bake up big, almost like slices of cake. The coffee and cinnamon flavors were a tad overwhelming. If I make these again, I'd probably cut back the proportions on both.
