What You Need

pkg.  (14 oz.) KRAFT Caramels
Tbsp.  butter or margarine
Tbsp.  water
cups  air-popped popcorn
cups  mini vanilla wafers

Make It

HEAT oven to 300°F.

COOK caramels, butter and water in large saucepan on low heat until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently.

COMBINE popcorn and wafers in large bowl. Add caramel mixture; toss to coat. Spread onto large baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 20 min., stirring after 10 min. Spread onto sheet of waxed paper; cool. Break into clusters.

Use Your Microwave
To melt caramels in the microwave, place caramels, butter and water in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 min. or until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after each minute.
How to Store
Store in tightly covered container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
This caramel popcorn mixture can be spooned into paper cones and wrapped tightly in colored cellophane wrap for gift-giving - perfect for the teacher or a favorite babysitter.
