These are fantastic. I followed the directions exactly (except for using parchment paper to line the pan). They came out very chewy-which I like. My kids said they are better than brownies. I will make these again.
I made this for my sister who doesn't like alot of chocolate. I could not believe the response I got! EVERYONE loved it, even another sister who never eats desserts. Nothing tops this one--it is a real keeper!
I found this recipe a little difficult. When i reserved the cup for the top, it seemed there wasn't enough for the bottom. It was hard to spread on the foil. It was impossible to spread the top over the caramel. It took longer to bake and wouldn't set right. And yes, it called for waaaaaay to much caramel. I used half and was really too much.
