What You Need

Tbsp.  butter
medium  (2/3 lb.) Granny Smith apples, cored, thinly sliced
Tbsp.  brown sugar
cup  PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, chopped, divided
tsp.  ground cinnamon
 flour tortillas (6 inch)
cup  KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
cup   thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Make It

MELT butter in medium skillet on medium-high heat. Add apples; cook 5 to 7 min. or until apples are soft and brown. Add brown sugar; cook 2 min. or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; add 3 Tbsp. of the peanuts and the cinnamon. Spoon evenly onto centers of tortillas; sprinkle with cheese. Fold tortillas over to completely enclose filling.

HEAT large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add tortillas, two at a time; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until lightly browned on both sides. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

SERVE topped with whipped topping and remaining 1 Tbsp. peanuts.

Kraft Kitchens Tips

Size Wise
Enjoy your favorite foods while keeping portion size in mind.
Top with BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream instead of COOL WHIP for a more savory quesadilla.
Food Facts
Granny Smith apples are available year round. In the winter months they are grown in the U.S. This all purpose apple is great for making these sweet quesadillas because they hold their shape slightly when cooked.
