Caramelized Fennel Gratin

What You Need

Tbsp.  olive oil
large  sweet onion, thinly sliced
large  fennel bulbs, trimmed, sliced
cup  KRAFT Real Mayo Mayonnaise
tsp.  GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
cup  KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
 RITZ Crackers, finely crushed (about 2/3 cup)
Tbsp.  butter, melted

Make It

HEAT oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally. Add fennel; cover. Cook 5 min.; stir. Cook, uncovered, 20 to 22 min. or until vegetables are tender and golden brown, stirring occasionally.

HEAT oven to 375ºF. Mix mayo and mustard in medium bowl; stir in cheese. Add to vegetable mixture; stir. Spoon into 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Mix cracker crumbs and butter; sprinkle over vegetable mixture.

BAKE 8 to 10 min. or until vegetable mixture is heated through and top is golden brown.

How to Prepare in Skillet
If skillet is ovenproof, no need to transfer cooked vegetable mixture to pie plate as directed. Top vegetable mixture with cracker crumb mixture, then broil, 4 inches from heat, 2 to 3 min. or until vegetable mixture is heated through and top is golden brown.
How to Make RITZ Cracker Crumbs
To easily crush RITZ Crackers into crumbs, process the crackers in a food processor or blender. You can also crush RITZ Crackers by hand by placing the crackers in a resealable plastic bag and rolling across them with a rolling pin. For each 1/3 cup of crumbs, you will need about 10 RITZ Crackers.
