Caramelized Pear, Blue Cheese and Bacon Pizza

The pears and blue cheese might lead you to believe this is a very elegant dish. But bacon and ready-to-use pizza crusts ensure it's not formal!

What You Need

Tbsp.  butter
2
 pears, cored, each cut into 12 lengthwise slices

Tbsp.  packed brown sugar
4
 ready-to-use baked pizza crusts (8 inch)
1/2
cup  refrigerated Alfredo sauce
1
cup  KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese
3/4
cup  ATHENOS Crumbled Blue Cheese
3/4
cup  OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Recipe Pieces

Make It

HEAT oven to 425ºF.

MELT butter in medium skillet on medium heat. Add pears; sprinkle with sugar. Cook 2 to 3 min. or until sugar is melted and pears are evenly coated with sugar mixture, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

PLACE pizza crusts on baking sheet; spread with Alfredo sauce. Sprinkle evenly with half the mozzarella; top with blue cheese, bacon, pears and remaining mozzarella.

BAKE 6 to 8 min. or until topping is golden brown and bubbly.

For added color and texture, serve with a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Light Dressing.
Storage Know-How
An opened bag of shredded cheese can be resealed and stored in the freezer. When ready to use in a baked recipe, such as pizza, there is no need to thaw the cheese first. Simply add to the desired recipe and bake as directed.
