Ratings & Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This recipe was good. This recipe was good. However, the chicken lacked the degree of flavor I had expected. So, next time, I would marinate the chicken in the dressing/soy sauce/garlic powder mixture for about 30 minutes. Additionally, when it came time to simmer the cooked chicken with the frozen vegetables, there was not enough liquid, so I added a little water. Next time, I would use a little chicken broth. Given that I am a single, I scaled the recipe for two servings as opposed to four servings. Perhaps that is why there was not enough liquid. **I added some honey-roasted peanuts as a topping. Very tasty!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and easy. Quick and easy. I marinated the chicken in the dressing, soy sause, and garlic powder(I like garlic so added a little more than recipe suggests) for about 15 minutes, while the rice was cooking. I lightly seasoned the cubed chicken with Lawry's season salt and freshly ground black pepper. I used a mixture of broccoli florets, cauliflower, and carrots for the frozen veggies. It was delicious. My picky eater didn't go for it though,he couldn't get past the color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This turned out nicely. This turned out nicely. I made a few changes though. I used turkey breast instead of chicken. Also, my hubby isnt a carrott fan, so instead of getting mixed vegetables that had carrotts in them, I got a Mexican Blend (broccoli, cauliflower, corn, and peppers). Hubby had two helpings. The only thing I would do differently is to maybe increase the soy sauce and/or the Catalina for just a bit more flavor!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very tasty. Very tasty. I marinated the chicken in the Catalina, soy sauce, and garlic power for about 15 minutes. Then cooked as it called for in the recipe w/ crushed black pepper. Served over brown rice w/ broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots (frozen mix, steamed in microwave). Would definately make this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yummy and easy I made this and added extra garlic powder, extra soy sauce, and onion powder. I Marinated the chicken for a half hour or so and it tasted great. The mixed veggies I used were only broccoli and cauliflower, because that's what I liked. It might be better with fresh onion next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make this for my family at least twice a month. I make this for my family at least twice a month. We absolutely love this!! We sometimes add a little bit of spice by cooking little yellow chili's while the chicken and vegetables cook together, then discard them before serving. It is one of our favorite family dinners.
