Increase ground red pepper to 3/4 tsp.
Basic brownies freeze very well. Cool completely. For best results, do not cut up the brownies before freezing. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then wrap again in foil. Freeze up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
