    I used 2t. of lemon juice instead of the red wine, and added marshmallows, peanut butter chips, walnuts and peanute. Yummy:)

    we put this through the food processor and use it as a dip. Great on Matzah.

    It really does not need the sugar. The sweetness of the apples and the whine give enough sweet/tartness without the sugar.
