Rated 5 out of 5 by from Melt in your Mouth - To DIE for -DELICIOUS! Melt in your Mouth - To DIE for -DELICIOUS! I was skeptical to try this recipe but it had such high ratings that I gave it a try - and it will be a new favorite for me to take to gatherings! I did add a little extra brown sugar - and although reheated leftover portions are good, it is much better fresh out of the oven! The wheat thins are just Perfect in this combination!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My mom made this for a party and everyone raved about it. My mom made this for a party and everyone raved about it. So, when I had a party I made it and people barely ate it. I also served it with the cinnamon wheat thins. I used a chopper and maybe the apples were too small?? It just looked weird and didn't taste like anything special, rather bland. I don't deviate from recipes -- not sure what happened.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some people mentioned this recipe was runny--it is at first when you take it out of the oven. Some people mentioned this recipe was runny--it is at first when you take it out of the oven. It actually taste better and thickens when it has had the chance to cool a little. Cream cheese and apples is a wierd combo to some people so they wont try new things, but I enoyed the sweet and salty combination and will definitely make again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a Mabey. This is a Mabey. I made this for a holiday party. & Everyone tried it, but that was it. Only about 2 people out of everyone sat and nibble on it all night, which when I left still had alot left! So I'm not sure if I will make this again. People said it would be better if it was on ice cream. & I agree!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was very good, but not well received. It was very good, but not well received. It was time consuming in preparation. I loved it, but my family said it was their least favorite of the appetizers that I made for or Christmas dinner. I most likely will not make again. I had at least half a pie plate left, after serving 9.

I loved that the recipe is easy to make, a little out of the ordinary, and perfect for the fall season. I also served it with the cinnamon wheat thins and they compliment the dish well. Thanks for another winner.
