What You Need

French bread baguette (1 lb.), cut into 16 slices, toasted

jar (6 oz.) marinated artichoke hearts, drained, chopped

1/4

cup sliced roasted red peppers

Tbsp. green onion slices

pkg. (8 oz.) CRACKER BARREL Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, cut into 16 slices

Make It

HEAT broiler.

PLACE toast slices on baking sheet; top with remaining ingredients.

BROIL, 6 inches from heat, 2 to 3 min. or until cheese begins to melt.

Variation

Substitute 32 RITZ Crackers for the toasted French bread slices and/or KRAFT Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese for the CRACKER BARREL Cheese.

Special Extra

Garnish with additional sliced roasted red peppers and green onions.

Hosted a fall-themed dinner party and decided to try this out. Everyone gobbled them right up! Dee-lish! I buttered the bread and sprinkled with garlic powder before adding the remaining toppings. Gave it a little zip. Also used shredded cheddar(instead of slices) that I already had in the fridge.

This was a big hit with everyone and very easy ro make. Definitely a keeper!

It was great. My Husband doesn't like ARTICHOKES but the combination was great. We had it twice in one weekend. Thank you, I added some spices to it (oregano, basil.some hots) the cheese was extra sharp cheddar, friends loved it...What a great idea.
