Sure, you could get a fancy nut and cheese appetizer roll from an expensive mail-order catalog. Or you could make this one—less expensively—at home.

What You Need

pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1-1/2
cups  KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Tbsp.  milk
1
 green onion, finely chopped
2
Tbsp.  finely chopped red peppers
1
env.  (0.7 oz.) GOOD SEASONS Garlic & Herb Dressing Mix
1/2
cup  finely chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Make It

BEAT cream cheese, Cheddar and milk in medium bowl with mixer until blended. Add vegetables and dressing mix; mix well.

REFRIGERATE 30 min. Shape into 8-inch log; roll in nuts until evenly coated. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 3 hours.
