Rated 3 out of 5 by from I am excited to make these cheesecake brownies just because of the comments! I am excited to make these cheesecake brownies just because of the comments! People either love em or hate them which goes to show we are all unique individuals with different tastes. I love it lol! I will definately post my review. My husband is addicted to chocolate (so much that for my wedding shower many of his mom's friend bought me chocolate cake mixes)as well he loves cheesecake so he will be the expert judge of this recipe for our home.I should add that I have yet to make a bad recipe from this site so I am not worried.

I did not use the cream cheese but I did substitute the oil with applesauce and the eggs with only TWO egg whites. Using more egg whites makes it cakier. I mixed it by hand and poured it into a 13x9-inch baking dish lightly sprayed with cooking spray. I baked it at 350 degrees for about 23-25 minutes. They did not come out rubbery or cakey, but very fudgy and delicious. I like it better than using the traditional recipe, plus it's healthier!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a great recipe! This is a great recipe! I changed it just a bit by using 1/2 c. Egg Beaters instead of the egg whites. I also used unsweetened applesauce and nonfat milk to keep down calories. After reading some reviews I was worried about the swirling, so I spread the cream cheese layer well over the brownie mixture before swirling with a knife. My family loves them and they are definitely healthier than store bought!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This recipe did taste good and the brownie part was very moist and flavorful. This recipe did taste good and the brownie part was very moist and flavorful. I liked that the recipe substituted applesauce for oil. However, the reason I probably won't make these again is because the cheesecake part of the brownies had a very odd texture. They were...spongey. So if you can get past that, they're good, but I just thought the texture was too strange.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I will not make these again. I will not make these again. I took it to a dinner with some friends and I came back with more than I would have expected if they tasted better. I give it a two star because they weren't so bad that we couldn't swallow them but I definatly won't make it again. One thing that I didn't like about them, besides the taste, was that it was more cake like than brownie like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh my gosh, these are addicting. Oh my gosh, these are addicting. Yum! you have to try them, I made them for my mom's dinner today and my husband and I ate 3 a piece. Although I did make my brownies the way the box says instead of with applesauce, but I did the cream cheese the way it called for and mine wasn't spongey like another review said. I will definetly be making these again. So easy!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wasn't overwhelmed by this. I wasn't overwhelmed by this. I thought it would be better than it was. I think I might try it with the oil instead of applesauce. I know it won't be as low-cal, but the brownie part was spongy and not as tasty. The low-fat cream cheese was great though. I also added vanilla to the cheesecake part and it was quite tasty. Just not a fan of the spongy brownie.
