Rated 5 out of 5 by from We loved this! We loved this! Me and my grandmother ate a whole loaf in one sitting. I did add extra garlic and shredded cheese on top. I baked mine at 375 for about 15 minutes instead of broiling it. I used the large loaf of french bread and wanted the bottom to be a little crisp. I have also made this substituting the olives with mushrooms and onions that were baced with a little butter and a knorr beef bullion cube. Now that was heaven on a plate. You could really add anything you want to the cheese mixture. I can't wait to make it again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is devine! This is devine!! Quick & easy to assemble and serves a multitude of people. What's really great is that you already have most of these as staple ingredients in the house . Just only need to buy fresh bread . I double the recipe for a party and had them ready in advance and then just popped into the broiler. Tastes great! House smells so -o-o-good and everyone immediately dove into the appetizers which gave me ample time to prepare drinks and check on dinner. Definitely a keeper. Mary Lou, Niles, IL

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was not only delicious, but so easy a child could do it! This was not only delicious, but so easy a child could do it! I sprinkled a little granulated garlic and fresh ground pepper on top before toasting it. This bread disappeared so fast that I should have made double the recipe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is soooo good. This is soooo good. It is a family favorite of ours. I wanted to "lighten" it up so I used Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil (which has 1/2 the fat and calories of reg. mayo) and 2% Milk Mozzarella. I also used a wheat french bread. SOOOOO YUMMY!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from If you want an excessively cheesy bread from the broiler - this is for you. If you want an excessively cheesy bread from the broiler - this is for you. If you want a spin off garlic bread - this probably won't meet your expectations. Love the olives! They are not overpowering at all.
