  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Prepare cornbread batter as directed on package; stir in barbecue sauce.
  • Pour into 8-inch square pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 20 to 25 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Top with bacon and cheese; bake 3 to 5 min. or until cheese is melted.


If baking cornbread in a dark nonstick 8-inch square pan, reduce oven temperature to 350ºF.


Prepare cornbread batter with barbecue sauce as directed; spoon evenly into 8 prepared muffin pan cups. Bake 15 to 20 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Top with bacon and cheese; bake 3 to 5 min. or until cheese is melted. Cool muffins in pan 5 min. Remove to wire rack; cool slightly.

Special Extra

For easy cleanup, line baking pan with foil using this easy method.  Turn pan upside down and fit a piece of foil over top of pan, smoothing corners as needed.  Remove foil.  When you turn the pan over, the foil fits perfectly inside the pan.
