If baking cornbread in a dark nonstick 8-inch square pan, reduce oven temperature to 350ºF.
Prepare cornbread batter with barbecue sauce as directed; spoon evenly into 8 prepared muffin pan cups. Bake 15 to 20 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Top with bacon and cheese; bake 3 to 5 min. or until cheese is melted. Cool muffins in pan 5 min. Remove to wire rack; cool slightly.
