  • Heat oven to 325ºF.
  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook 13 to 15 min. or until tender and golden brown, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese and mayo.
  • Spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 45 to 55 min. or until golden brown. Let stand 5 min. before serving. Sprinkle with chives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Easy and Fast Obviously this recipe is HIGH in fat and calories, so I substituted 1/2 greek yogurt for the mayo. And, because I live in Las Vegas, I used my gas grill as the oven. Absolutely delicious!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cheesy caramelized onion dip I made this recipe last night and it was so greasy it was terrible. We had to pour the grease off of it and it was still greasy. We used paper towels to soak up the grease. Needless to say, I will not be making this again!
