  • Cook pasta as directed on package.
  • Meanwhile, heat large skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 2 min. on each side. Add sauce; cover. Simmer on low heat 10 min. or until chicken is done (165ºF). Add VELVEETA; cook and stir until melted.
  • Drain pasta; top with chicken and sauce.

Substitute

Prepare using chunky pasta sauce.

Perfect Pasta

For perfect pasta that's cooked just right, test it often near the end of the cooking time suggested on the package. The perfect pasta is done when it's tender, but still slightly firm as you bite into it. To keep the pasta from cooking any further, immediately drain it in a colander.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My husband and I both really enjoyed this recipe! My husband and I both really enjoyed this recipe! I cooked the chicken in some olive oil with minced garlic and drained off the extra oil before adding the sauce. I couldn't find the type of tomato sauce called for in the recipe so I used an 8oz. can of regular tomato sauce, 1/2 of a 15oz. can of petite diced tomatoes and added dried basil and oregano. I think this could also be made with ground beef or sausage and it would probably taste a lot like lasagna. I will definitely be making this over and over again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed this. I really enjoyed this. Being unemployed, this worked for me, using a small amount of ingrediants I already had in my fridge. I altered the recipe by adding 1/2 tblsp on minced garlic, black pepper, a sprinkle of oregano and aside of a small porition of Velveeta cheese, I added shredded blend cheese, I had left over from some tacos. Its great. I had two small boys and they ate it up. Would make this again and great to make on a budget.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You can make this recipe great if you tweek it a little. You can make this recipe great if you tweek it a little. I diced the chicken before putting it in the pan with a basic seasoning of salt, pepper and garlic powder. I used the same amount of sauce and velveeta according to the recipe. however, I added crushed red pepper, onion green peppers and the smoked chipotle variety of tabasco. Then topped it with parmesean before serving. It was really good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love that this recipe is so fast... I love that this recipe is so fast... It took me longer to thaw my chicken out than it did to cook the entire meal. After adding the velveta, I felt that it was too cheesy. I added twice the amount of sauce that it calls for but this helped. I thought it was just ok. My husband, who hates cheese, loved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS RECIPE IS VERY GOOD, WITH ONE ADJUSTMENT. THIS RECIPE IS VERY GOOD, WITH ONE ADJUSTMENT. AFTER READING THE REVIEWS A FEW COMMENTS WERE MADE THAT THE CHICKEN INSIDE WAS BLAND, SO I MARINATED THE CHICKEN BREAST IN ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING IN TH FRIDGE FOR A FEW HOURS. RESULTS VERY TASTY CHICKEN. WILL MAKE THIS ONE OFTEN.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I don't think any Italian cook, including me, would use Velveeta in an Italian recipe. I don't think any Italian cook, including me, would use Velveeta in an Italian recipe. While I love Velveeta, I can't honestly say it belongs in an Italian recipe. What about some of your other Kraft cheeses? Mozzarella or Parmesan?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I would make this again, even though it was a bit diasppointing. I would make this again, even though it was a bit diasppointing. The flavor was good, but it was not throughout. The chicken was pretty bland in the middle -- so I think I will try agian using some suggestions I read in reviews.
