  • Mix salsa, dressing and chili powder until blended; spread onto tortillas.
  • Place chicken on half of each tortilla; top with cheese. Fold tortillas in half to enclose filling.
  • Heat large heavy skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat. Add quesadillas, 2 at a time; cook 4 to 5 min. on each side or until cheese is melted and quesadillas are lightly browned on both sides. Repeat with remaining quesadillas.
  • Cut quesadillas into wedges to serve.

I did add onions and green peppers....and left out the chili powder, but loved the tang of the salsa mixed with the Miracle Whip. I used Fat Free Miracle whip and don't think it made any difference in the finished product. We will make this a regular item on our menus. Another Winner from Kraft!! I have compiled my own binder with recipes that I have printed from this site. I use plastic sleeves to protect the sheets and make notes of any additions that I might have made when I prepare the dish. I also make a note of our rating of the prepared recipe and put that on the sheet as well.

A new family favorite on the weekly menu rotation - VERY easy and quick, and so much better than the ones in restaurant! Use pre-cooked chicken breast and Kraft 2% milk shredded cheddar - sauteed some mushrooms and onions to put in the adults' portions. My 10-year old LOVED them and so did me and my husband. The miracle whip was just the right ingredient, made it snazzy. Try it you'll love it! Recipe is very easy to customize with your favorite fillings!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What a yummy quick supper. What a yummy quick supper. I used the same ingredients but less of them. I just mixed the salsa and mayo to make enough for two quesadillas. I added cilantro and scallions and some hot taco sauce before putting them together to cook. A side of refried beans and yellow rice! YUMMY!

My 4 year old really loved being able to help make this and my husband said the quesadillas were better than you get in a resturant (I agreed!) To make it even easier I bought the pre-cooked chicken breast strips spiced with southwestern flavoring. It made this a snap!

My 11 year old stepson picked this out to make for dinner, he loves to help in the kitchen. My husband said i"t's a winner; when will you make this again?" Needless to say I have made this several times since. One thing you can sub is using the "light mayo" to save on some calories.

I diced up the chicken and added the chicken and the cheese to the mix for easy preparation. I used med-low heat and just a couple minutes on each side. The sauce is really easy to make ahead for later!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These were THE best! These were THE best! I stir fried chicken breast that had been cut into bite-size pieces, doubled the salsa-mixture, used extra cheese (of course!), and bigger tortillas (bigger hands require bigger bites). The boys kept asking for more!!!
