Rated 4 out of 5 by from I did modify the recipe a little bit. I did modify the recipe a little bit. I used the Kraft Mac & Cheese that's made with 50% whole grain to get added fiber. While the pasta was cooking, I sauteed the cut up chicken breast and added a little more than half of a 16 oz. bag of frozen stir fry veggies into the chicken, then added the mixture to the prepared Mac & Cheese. It was a hit with my hubby, and since we are two in our household, I have another meal in the freezer for a busy work-week night. Perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this recipe. I love this recipe. My 21-month old toddler loved it which is even better. Because the veggies were mixed in with the mac-and-cheese, it made it hard for her to tell the difference between the cauliflower and the noodles (I used the shells and cheese variety, rather than regular mac-and-cheese). And it made the carrots and broccoli taste more cheesy. This is a great new way for her to get veggies. I will definitely make this again.

This was very good but the only change I would make for next time is this: don't add the frozen veggies with the pasta, because they make the water too cool, and then the pasta was a little too mushy in the end. I would add the vegetables first, wait til it comes back to a boil and then add the pasta. We still loved it but we like our pasta a little more al dente.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'm having a hard time figuring out where the 'Healthy' comes in. I'm having a hard time figuring out where the 'Healthy' comes in. Look at the sodium and carbohydrates. I haven't fixed this and I won't fix it, why is the email labeled 'Healthy Living Ideas'? I would love some easy healthy recipes from Kraft, but this one is not!

Note: Use a larger pot to boil the water than you would normally use so the vegetables can cook without spilling water on the stove and so there will be room to mix everything together.

My family enjoyed this meal, it got my 9 and 13 year old to eat their mixed vegetables for a change!! I will make again, easy to make and I liked the fact that it was on the "bland" side as someone put it, makes it easy on a sensitive tummy:)
