What You Need

pkg. (7 oz.) corn muffin mix

1/3

cup milk

egg, beaten

can (4 oz.) chopped green chiles, drained

KRAFT 2% Milk Singles, chopped

Make It

HEAT oven to 400°F.

MIX muffin mix, milk and egg just until blended. Stir in chiles and 2% Milk Singles.

SPOON into 8 greased or paper-lined muffin cups.

BAKE 16 to 18 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Serve with a steaming pot of chili and a tossed green salad topped with your favorite KRAFT Dressing, such as CATALINA.

Cheesy Chili Cornbread Squares

Prepare batter as directed, using KRAFT 2% Milk Sharp Cheddar Singles. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown. Cut into squares.

I made these muffins a few times now, they are very easy to make but lacking in flavor. I cut up my own cheddar cheese and used that but it melts so much into the mufin that you can't actually tell there is cheese in there.

These were pretty good! The only thing is I might use cheddar instead of american cheese and I wont use cupcake liners. My muffins were sticking to the liners.

I didn't think these had any other taste then the corn bread it self. I would not make it again!

I couldn't find canned green chilies, so I only used the cheese. I couldn't taste it, though. The muffins just tasted like regular corn muffins. Next time I won't waste my cheese.

These were quick and easy to make, tasted great! Big hit with everyone, will be making them again. Next time I might use shredded cheddar instead of the singles, just seems like it would be easier. Also, I made them as mini muffings, only had to cook for 12-14 minutes.

so easy my son maded it and it was so good . He is 5 and this is going to be is Thanksgiving dish this year. Shhh his secert was he put the 3 cheese blend and it was so good all of them were gone that night.
