Serve with a steaming pot of chili and a tossed green salad topped with your favorite KRAFT Dressing, such as CATALINA.
Prepare batter as directed, using KRAFT 2% Milk Sharp Cheddar Singles. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown. Cut into squares.
Feel good about serving these muffins to your friends and family. As a bonus, the green chiles are a good source of vitamin C.

I made these muffins a few times now, they are very easy to make but lacking in flavor. I cut up my own cheddar cheese and used that but it melts so much into the mufin that you can't actually tell there is cheese in there.
These were pretty good! The only thing is I might use cheddar instead of american cheese and I wont use cupcake liners. My muffins were sticking to the liners.
I didn't think these had any other taste then the corn bread it self. I would not make it again!
