Pair this bread with a serving of broiled chicken or other lean meat and a mixed green salad.
Prepare as directed except for broiling. Wrap securely in foil; freeze. When ready to serve, remove bread from foil; place on baking sheet. Bake at 400°F for 35 minutes or until heated through and cheese mixture is bubbly. No need to thaw before baking.

I've been making this bread for 15+ years and it's always a hit. We use the Garlic & Herb packet rather than the Italian (too salty for us). You have to watch it under the broiler, though, as it get done quicker than you think. It's our favorite on nice, soft italian bread especially when the cheese is "just" melted and the bread is still soft.
This recipe was SO salty and had way too much of the seasoning. I dont think I would even care for it with less seasoning on it.
