Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this, but instead of using the whole loaf, I only used half. I made this, but instead of using the whole loaf, I only used half. I still used all the seasoning and cheese, cuz I love cheese. The seasoning was very powerful, and it was very buttery. But after a couple days, it seemed to lose some of it's potency. I will definately make it again, but will follow the recipe! It tasted pretty good, except for the strong seasoning, like something from a restaurant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been making this bread for 15+ years and it's always a hit. I've been making this bread for 15+ years and it's always a hit. We use the Garlic & Herb packet rather than the Italian (too salty for us). You have to watch it under the broiler, though, as it get done quicker than you think. It's our favorite on nice, soft italian bread especially when the cheese is "just" melted and the bread is still soft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make this bread often and everyone in my household loves it. I make this bread often and everyone in my household loves it. It's delicious as printed but I find what's even yummier is to use a 5-cheese Italian blend instead of just mozzarella. Also, instead of broiling I simply pop it in the oven at 400 degrees for about 12 minutes and I find it gets crispier that way with less chance of getting overdone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious...I doubled the recipe and kept the remainders in a container in the freezer. Delicious...I doubled the recipe and kept the remainders in a container in the freezer. Scoops out great and spreads in a minute. Great on potatoe and veggie casseroles and chili and a scoop on a hot bowl of soup. Great recipe...Thank you

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I make this with sourdough bread and it is sooo good! I make this with sourdough bread and it is sooo good! If you mix the cheese in with the butter, it makes it kind of hard to spread. I just mix the butter and dressing mix and spread it on, then add the cheese- much easier.
