  • Bring broccoli and broth to boil in medium saucepan on medium-high heat.
  • Add rice; stir. Cover. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min.
  • Stir in VELVEETA; let stand, covered, 5 min. Stir until VELVEETA is melted.

Substitute

Prepare using thawed frozen broccoli florets.

I sneak a little grated carrot in and will use half brown rice and half white rice and no one is the wiser. The only advice I can offer is- Don't forget to add salt and pepper! It makes all the difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i thought i was soooooo smart when i "made up" this recipe. i thought i was soooooo smart when i "made up" this recipe. i add more things to my version though and it is a BIG winner. our 10 year old wont eat broccoli unless it is made this way. try adding mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup to the recipe....that's my secret.
