I doubled up the recipe and used 3 cups of milk. I omitted the wine and used 1 lb. of shrimp. This recipe wasn't what I expected, it had too much of the velveeta taste. I won't make this again.

this reciepe was delicious!! I didn't have celery but after reading some other reviews I substituted with onions and cooked the shrimp in butter and garlic. It came out wonderful. My husband loved it, one he wants me to make again!!

I used half the block of velveeta as required by the recipe and it was too cheesy. It's like your just eating melted cheese. It was really gross. I suppose adding more milk would help watering it down. But I would just not bother with this recipe again.
