  • Melt margarine in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add rolls, cut-sides down; cook 3 min. or until golden brown. Remove from skillet; set aside.
  • Add vegetables and garlic to skillet; cook and stir on medium-high heat 3 min. or until crisp-tender. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm. Add steaks to skillet; cook 30 sec. on each side or until done, brushing with steak sauce for the last 10 sec.
  • Fill rolls with Singles, steaks and vegetables.

Substitute

Prepare using your favorite KRAFT Big Slice 2% Milk Reduced Fat Cheese Slices.

    This was a very tasty sandwhich. My boyfriend and I could only eat half of it, so we had some for lunch the next day. We used swiss cheese slices instead and omitted the green pepper because he is allergic to them.

    Great recipe. Had everything on hand, the freah mushrooms and onions adds a lot the taste. It wasn't hard to make. Think I will add more minced garlic next time. What I liked is the use of cube steak in it. Tastey and another use for cube steaks. Comfort food.

    This is a very simple recipe, which gets an A in my book. I did make a few changes because I didn't have everything. I used olive oil instead of margarine, onion buns in place of the kaiser rolls, and I didn't have any mushrooms. Because I had regular buns, I sliced the cube steak into strips. I had grated cheese on hand so I used that as well. I roasted potato wedges tossed with olive oil, sea salt, ground pepper, and italion seasoning. This recipe is definately staying on our regular menu!
