  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Unroll pizza dough on lightly floured surface. Roll out or pat into 12-inch square; top with cheese, turkey, peppers and basil, leaving 1/2-inch rim around all sides. Roll up; pinch seam and ends together to seal.
  • Place, seam side down, on foil-covered baking sheet. Beat egg and water; brush onto dough.
  • Bake 22 to 25 min. or until golden brown. Cool 10 min. before slicing.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with fresh fruit and assorted cut-up fresh vegetables to round out the meal.

Made one with the turkey but also added real bacon bits then made one with pepperoni and Mozzarella cheese along with onions and greek pepper strips. I warmed up spaghetti sauce for dipping the pepperoni one. Fast, easy and great for a quick meal along with a nice tossed salad.

We wished we would have made 2. I used the Pillsbury whole grain artisan pizza crust and it was really good. I didn't roast the peppers, just pre-microwaved them for a minute. We will definitely have this again!

So I put chopped up tomatoes in instead. They LOVED it. I also did not have basil leaves so i put in chopped up rosemary leaves. It was delicious!

They where so good, my kids loved theirs.
