What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix

eggs

cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks

1/2

cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

BEAT cake mix, eggs and dressing in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients.

DROP rounded teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheets.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until cookies are slightly firm to the touch. Cool completely on wire racks.

Substitute

Substitute PLANTERS Pecans or PLANTERS Sliced Almonds for the walnuts.

Substitute

Substitute 5 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, coarsely chopped, for the chocolate chunks.

Miracle Whip in a cookie? Sounds weird to me. I don't even like mayo on normal things, I certainly don't want it in a cookie! Maybe if you replaced it with oil or applesauce or something it might be good, but not with mayo!

Not my favorite cookie, but a very easy cookie. Hubby asked if I used "betty crocker" because you have that "cake-mix" taste to it (which isn't a bad one at all). I would make this again as I often have chocolate cake mix and miracle whip handy, so when the unexpected pop over, it's quick and everyone eats chocolate.

I liked the chewy texture of this cookie, but the mayo flavor was weird. Perhaps something could be used in its place?

Definately for the chocolate lover, it was great and quite a treat . They needed much less baking time for me and they did spread a little too much, but we loved it!

These were just okay. Too cakey though. My husband liked them but he's very easy to please. I won't be making these again.

I am good at making cookies but these cookies were so easy and tasted good. I would make this recipe again and only this one. It was the only cookie recipe I actually wanted people to taste.btw..my daughter thought it was gross that is was made with miracle whip I told her after she eat about four of them..she would have never guessed

The cookies were so moist because of the Miracle Whip. I can't wait for my family to indulge.
