  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat cake mix, Neufchatel and eggs in large bowl with mixer until blended. Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts.
  • Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Gently press 1 caramel piece into center of each.
  • Bake 10 to 12 min. or until cookies are slightly firm to the touch; cool 3 min. on baking sheets. Transfer to wire racks; cool completely.

Melt 2 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over cookies. Let stand until firm.


Prepare using 1-1/2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Bittersweet or Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.), chopped.

How to Toast Nuts

Toasting nuts adds crunch and intensifies their flavor. To toast nuts in the oven, spread nuts in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 min. or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. To toast nuts on the stovetop, place nuts in ungreased skillet. Cook on medium heat until golden brown, stirring frequently. To toast nuts in the microwave, place up to 1 cup of nuts in a microwaveable shallow dish. Microwave on HIGH until fragrant and crisp, stirring every 30 sec.
