  • Combine first 5 ingredients; spread onto noodles. Roll up tightly.
  • Place, seam-sides down, in 9-inch square baking dish. Cover with sauce; top with mozzarella.
  • Bake 30 min. or until heated through.

Substitute

Substitute BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Cottage Cheese for the ricotta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone loved this! Everyone loved this! I did think the prep took a little longer than I like, but serving this "lasagna" is much easier than the traditional. I added baby spinach to the recipe as well. I did not use the suggested chicken strips (sounds difficult to eat with strips in it). Instead, I seasoned a chicken breast and chopped it up. I will probably not even use chicken next time, as I try to cut out meat where ever I can. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An easy recipe but very time consuming for assembly. An easy recipe but very time consuming for assembly. Recipe is flexible with meat/filling. To make assembly easier I laid out the noodle, put filling on, poured sauce, then rolled. I also made three separate rolls: ground lamb, grilled chicken and then spinach only. Great options to feed many different appetites! All this at age 14!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This one is a keeper! This one is a keeper! My 6 year old loved it and he is at times picky. I watch what I eat, so the first time I made the recipe as is. Then after that, I substitued the ricotta for low fat cottage cheese. You can't even tell the difference! This is one is perfect for the whole family.

Instead of using the Louis Rich chicken I thinly sliced a boneless chicken breast and sauted it in olive oil with italian seasoning. It's quick, easy and delicious. And its good warmed over if there happens to be any left. It's become one of our favorites. Thanks for posting it.

I also made my own chicken strips but i would dice then very small so as to "roll tightly" when u are making them. but even better(this could just be me) as refrigerating for leftovers, they tasted absolutly delicous. it was a surprising treat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this recipe. I love this recipe. It is for lasagna lovers that don't feel like making the effort to make a lasagna. I add garlic and basil and extra sauce. And instead of the pre-cooked chicken strips, I grill chicken breast and cut it up. Will definitely continue to make this one.

I substituted the chicken for ground italian sausage, and added a bit of canned spinach to it, Muwah! You may need a little more sauce though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My kids who a very picky eaters loved it. My kids who a very picky eaters loved it. I used chicken breasts that I cut into strips. I didn't have any ricotta cheese so I improvised with Mozzarella and Parmesan. It was cheesy and a good flavor. I made seven rolls and my eight year old son ate four.
