The canned tomato gave this receipe a zesty taste that totally did not go with the flavor, and the chicken would have been better browned, almost with a crunchy texture. I would probably do this again if I fried fresh tomatoes and the onion along with the chicken, and added tomato sauce. But not like this! my 2 yr old son that loves mac and chicken, didn't even finish this dish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have not made this recipe yet. I have not made this recipe yet. I love the word chicken THIGHS and not always breasts. We are dark meat lovers. And when I make this I hope to use my own home canned tomatoes. They contain green peppers and onions and of course, tomatoes. Delicious flavor so will try this recipe very soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tasted. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tasted. I seasoned the chicken with salt & pepper and it tasted so good. I left out the green onions (I didn't have any). My kids and husband loved it too. I served sourdough bread to go along with it. I would make this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recipe was fast, easy and delicious. Recipe was fast, easy and delicious. My husband is not much for chicken, unless it's fried. He really loved this dish. I added mushrooms, garlic and spicy seasonings. It was great! Can't wait to try it again with either ham steaks or pork chops! Thank you!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kraft mac 'n cheese has too much sodium. Kraft mac 'n cheese has too much sodium. Both members of my household are on sodium-restricted diets. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to use in place of the kit's sauce pack? That's where all the salt is. I could use the noodles, just not the envelope!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is for mlgainey. This is for mlgainey. I uaually buy cheese ends at my local deli / grocery store instead of Kraft product. It's what gets too small to slice. Sold by the pound with a variety in the bag. Adds great flavor and it's cheap! Melt down for a cheese sauce.

I "fryed" the chicken in the oven with cooking spray while I made the rest on the top of the stove. I bet it saved alot of calories. This tasted great and is a good way to use up some of my food storage (I store lots of Mac & Cheeze and tomatoes)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I didn't care for this recipe, but will say that my husband did like it. I didn't care for this recipe, but will say that my husband did like it. I had to substitute chili-ready diced tomatoes instead of the kind the recipe calls for as I didn't have any. It was all right, but probably won't make again.
