  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Coat chicken with coating mix as directed on package; place on baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 min. or until done.
  • Meanwhile, spray both sides of waffles with cooking spray. Gently fold each in half; secure with wooden toothpick. Place on separate baking sheet. Add to oven to bake with chicken for the last 8 min. Mix syrup, barbecue sauce and Sriracha sauce until blended.
  • Remove toothpicks from waffles. Place chicken strips in waffle shells; top with syrup mixture and onions.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a mixed green salad and your favorite fresh fruit to round out the meal.

Special Extra

Add 1 cooked slice OSCAR MAYER Bacon to each filled waffle shell.

    WOW! What a wonderful dinner! Nice change from the same old thing. My whole family loved it. Kids ate it with plain syrup and it's good that way too if u don't like spicy things. Will definitely make again.

    Upon first glance, I thought this recipe was the strangest thing ever. Waffles and chicken and hot sauce? It's crazy! But one evening when I didn't have much on hand except frozen waffles and chicken hot dogs, I thought what the heck, let's give it a shot. And boy was I surprised. This recipe is delicious. This recipe is marvelous. This recipe is a flavor explosion in your mouth. Seriously.
