Rated 3 out of 5 by from My family enjoyed this tasty meal. My family enjoyed this tasty meal. I made the following changes, however, to make 5-6 servings. I used 2 jars of chicken gravy (12oz each); 3 cups frozen mixed veggies (carrots, peas, string beans and corn); a few dashes of poultry seasoning instead of just thyme; 1 lb chicken (this was picked off a roast chicken I made a few weeks ago and froze); 10 oz uncooked egg noodles (prepared according to package directions). Further, I cooked the veggies before adding them to the gravy, knowing my toddler would eat them more readily that way.

The second time I made it I used about 2 tablespoons of minced garlic from the jar (one with the chicken while it cooked & on in the gravy). I also used some seasoned salt & a poultry seasoning. I 1 cup gravy. Added broccoli instead of peas & it was pretty close to our favorite frozen skillet meal. Good base recipe to build on & make your own!

This was a very good recipe, but i put my own twist on it--I made it twice, once with chicken gravy, and once with beef gravy. the beef gravy gave it more flavor. I used a veggie mix (Which had corn, carrots, green beans & peas in it) And that made it very colorful!you can also double it for larger family's!
