Chicken Parmesan Pasta Skillet

A garlic-Parmesan pasta salad is tossed with spaghetti sauce and sliced mushrooms to make this easy, cheesy chicken skillet dish.

What You Need

Tbsp.  oil
small  boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)
large  green pepper, chopped
cups  water
pkg.  (6.9 oz.) KRAFT Garlic Parmesan Pasta Salad
jar  (14 oz.) spaghetti sauce
can  (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
cup  KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Make It

HEAT oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken and peppers; cover and cook 4 to 5 min. on each side or until cooked through (165ºF). Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm.

ADD water and contents of Pasta and Seasoning pouches to skillet; stir. Reduce heat to medium; cover. Simmer 10 to 12 min. or until pasta is tender. Stir in spaghetti sauce and mushrooms.

TOP with chicken and mozzarella cheese; cook, covered, 3 to 5 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with the Parmesan Cheese.

Prepare as directed, using KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Mozzarella Cheese.
Keeping it Safe
When a dish contains dairy and/or meat products, be sure to serve it at the proper temperature (refrigerator cold or piping hot) and store all leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator. Do not let these foods set out at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
