I thought this would be a nice change to put in my kid's lunchboxes. I sent the chicken salad in a small container separate from the pita and let my kids stuff the pita themselves when they were ready to eat. I also put in some yogurt and a bottle of water and a goodie. They loved it! It was a fun twist on a sack lunch. I made enough for me to pack a lunch that day, and was really satisfied and felt full without feeling weighed down. I will definately put this recipe on my regular list of things for lunches. It was easy to prepare and tasted good. It would also be good on a croissant or on salad greens.
