As written, this recipe is awful! I think someone summed it up best when saying the sauce was the consistency of wallpaper paste and had no taste. It was still not even edible after really increasing the Italian seasoning, garlic, salt and pepper. HOWEVER, I was able to rescue it by adding in some concentrated chicken broth (flavor equivalent to 2-3 cups worth with much less liquid volume). This thinned out the sauce just enough, and improved the flavor vastly. My husband and kids thought it ended well.
Picture make it look very desirable but as with other recipes using cream cheese it was pasty and tasteless. I used the Italian blend and extra spices to try to get it up to par but there was not enough "sauce" and no matter how I tried to bump it up it just didn't taste good. Next time I will use the concept but with Alfredo sauce.
Will not be a "go to" recipe, on the bland side.
