Chicken Satay Recipe - Kraft Recipes

What You Need

1/4

cup BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce

1/4

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

1/4

cup fresh lime juice

2

Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro

1

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

Make It

MIX first 4 ingredients; pour over chicken in shallow glass dish. Refrigerate at least 1 hour to marinate, turning after 30 min.

HEAT grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Thread chicken onto skewers.

GRILL 4 to 5 min. on each side or until chicken is done.

Soak skewers in water for 1 hour before using to prevent them from burning.

Serve with coleslaw.

Fabulous! I added some chopped peanuts and extra cilantro. My entire family loved this recipe. My picky little son couldn't wait to try chicken that had "peanut butter". He even asked for seconds. Can't wait to make this again.

This time I used almond butter and whole chicken breast. I fried it about five minutes on each side, then wrapped each chicken in foil to finish cooking in the oven. Magnificent! The almond butter was milder and the chicken, oh so tender.

i let this recipe marinate overnight and it was very bland.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I made a little extra of the marinate for dipping sauce, added a little more lime and a few drops of water to thin it out for dipping.

Make sure chicken pieces are of equal size, my slightly larger pieces turned out better than the smaller -drier- pieces. Very good though, despite how it looked marinating in the bag! Nice taste, I let it sit for about 3 hrs in the fridge.

My family including my kids loved this chicken satay. They are very picky eaters and they devoured it. It tasted great. I made a little extra sauce for dipping afterwards. Would definitely make again.

Next time, I would make a little extra and reserve it to baste the chicken with while grilling. I agree with the others that it needs more flavor. The mixture tasted great, it would make a great dipping sauce.
