  • Cook chicken, onions and mushrooms in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 10 min. or until chicken is done (165°F), stirring onion mixture occasionally and turning chicken after 5 min. Transfer chicken to plate; cover to keep warm. Continue cooking onion mixture 3 to 5 min. or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce to onion mixture in skillet; mix well. Reduce heat to low. Return chicken to skillet; spoon onion mixture over chicken.
  • Mix stuffing mix and hot water; spoon around edge of skillet. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Cook 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Being from the south, I made a few alterations to this recipe. Being from the south, I made a few alterations to this recipe. I only used 1 small onion, a small can of mushrooms (since I did not have fresh ones), added 1/2 tsp minced garlic, and a pinch of basil leaves. I also made the stuffing using butter and 1-1/4 cups water. It turned out great!

The stuffing was still hard in some places so I had to add extra water to the dish and the chicken did not have any real flavor at all. I added seasoning to the chicken while I was cooking it but overall it lacked something for me.
