I went back at the end of the day and there was none left. Some liked it better warmed up and some enjoyed it cold. It does have a kick to it. I like a little spice so I used half mild and half medium salsa. That did cut the heat. I will make this dish again.

After adding my own modifications (Use 1/2 Sour Cream and half mayo; Never Miracle Whip; YUCK) this is a huge hit that I take to every party I go to now. I usually have to bring printed copies of the recipe because everyone asks for it! (I don't add black olives either; some people hate them)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This recipe didn't go over very well at my family dinner. This recipe didn't go over very well at my family dinner. I wish that I would have made it without the chicken, and I wish that I would have served it warm instead. Also, it was a little dry. I did reduce the taco mix to half a package, and that was a sufficient amount of flavor.

It is very good, a bit spicy if you use the Taco Bell brand seasoning. Have made with ground turkey breast instead of chicken (same proportions) and it was also tasty.

Maybe adding a little extra salsa than the recipe calls for would make the pasta better on the second day-it got a little dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Awesome! I made it using light sour cream and half a packet of taco seasoning as suggested, and topped it with shredded taco cheese. Delicious and my kids loved it! It was better the next day as leftovers too!
