What You Need

Peanut Butter CHIPS AHOY! Real Chocolate Chip Cookies, finely crushed

Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup sugar

1/2

tsp. vanilla

eggs

1/4

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix crumbs and margarine; press firmly onto bottom of 9-inch square baking pan. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Remove 1/2 cup of the batter; set aside. Spread remaining batter over crust. Stir peanut butter into reserved 1/2 cup batter. Spoon over cheesecake. Cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect.

BAKE 35 to 40 min. or until center is almost set. Cool completely on wire rack. Cover.

REFRIGERATE 3 hours or overnight. Cut into 25 squares. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Line pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan, before pressing crumb mixture into pan. When ready to cut into squares, remove dessert from pan using the foil handles.

This was SOOOO tasty! The top didn't look that pretty--maybe next time I'll try to microwave the peanut butter to make it spread a little easier instead of just clumping up. I made it with just regular chocolate chip cookies instead of the peanut butter kind.Will definitely make again! A big hit!

I like the was the cookies are incorporated into this, but when I made it, the top fell in an ugly way, and i marbled it, but it just didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. However, the recipe still sounds really good, so I will try it again.

I must say that I am a cheesecake lover and am always looking for a way to share the flavor. I added some chocolate syrup in as well as the peanut butter. It not only looked like something you'd order on an expensive night out but tasted like it!

I forgot to swirl the topping in to give it the "marble" effect so it was literally the ugliest dessert ever BUT it was still good. Everyone loved it and I served it with a chips ahoy peanut butter cookie on the side. I would have drizzled chocolate syrup too but I was out. Next time I make this I will mix it up a bit: I will do the peanut butter cookies for the crust, mix peanut butter in the crust over the whole thing and then after it bakes and cools, crumble snickers candy bars on top! yum! :-)
